HorizonSat increase its capacity for Middle East on Apstar 7 & Yahsat 1A.

Due to growing demand for capacity and services over satellite in the MENA region HorizonSat increase its capacity by launching new services on two new satellites, Apstar 7 and Yahsat 1A.

Apstar 7 located at 76.5° east has a very strong KU-Band coverage over Middle East. Due to this excellent coverage over the region and uplink from Europe this capacity is the perfect choice for HorizonSat. The successful launch of Apstar 7 satellite on the 31st of March this year has brought anticipated standard Ku-band capacity for the region.

 

 

Yahsat 1A is located at 52.5° east and is a perfect solution for IP-trunking and backhauling services due to its almost spot-beam like coverage for Middle East. This low Ku-band capacity with connectivity between Europe and Middle East has been very well received in the market. HorizonSat has just recently added a Comtech platform on Yahsat 1A.
